Cooperation of the National Post Company and the National Cartographic Center(NCC)

the National Cartographic Center’s meeting in which the latter organization declared
its commitment to provide all the
required maps for the project.
the Public Relations Bureau of the National Post Company, the meeting was hosted by the National Cartographic Center on Wednesday,
September 26, and was attended by Shafiei, head of the center, Barary, Deputy Minister and Head of the Iranian Space Agency
(ISA), and Nemati, Deputy Minister, Chairman of the board and Managing Director of the National Post Company of Iran and a group of managers from attending organizations.
The head of National
Cartographic Center of Iran at the meeting emphasized the main authority and
responsibilities of NCC for production of maps and spatial information in the GNAF project and stressed the NCC’s commitment to provide
all the required maps for the project, saying: "The GNAF National Plan, like Nsdi, is one of the top priority projects in the
resistance economy and is beneficial for the society”.

Company pointed to the start of launching GNAF operations in metropolitan areas and 70 major cities of the country, and
regarded the map production as the most important basis for this national plan.

study all aspects of cooperation.
He noted that basemaps of 522
cities were ready to be used for production of parcel map and other GNAF operational necessities. “We ask the NCC to

private sector to provide GNAF with parcels for
mapping process”. He added.
