Nemati: The National Standard Database has been implemented in
78 cities of the country
Deputy Minister, Chairman of the Board, and CEO of the National
Post Company, said in the 18th session of GNAF Working Group on Tuesday.
“Based on the following measures taken during the first six months
of the year 2017, 78 urban centers covering 64% of the country's total
coverage, have been prepared to be provided with the National Standard Database
(GNAF) this year::
-Launching the new version of the Sina website and providing
services to people using internet (G2C)
-Provision of web location-based services through National
Information Network to governmental G2G and non-governmental G2B agencies.
Connecting location-based services to National Information Network-
He also mentioned the connection of location-based web service to
the postmen smart phones in mailing system, and use of this service for
accepting mails, application of location-based postal code services, provision
of location-based services to other government and executive agencies in Qom
province via government network and providing maps for 240 cities through
municipalities, and implementation of coding operations since beginning of the current year, covering almost 70% of the
country's facilities.
Nemati regarded accomplishment of the above projects as successful
attempts towards the completion of location-based addressing system project by
the year 2020.
The CEO’s Senior advisor of the project who also attended the
meeting, expressed his satisfaction for implementation of the project according
to schedule adding: “GNAF is the core of empowering the government in serving
people of the society”.
