Iran Post cooperates with all its might with the Tehran Virtual Book Fair

In a press conference, Ramazan Ali Sobhanifar, CEO of the National Post Company, announced the active and extensive role of Iran Post in the Tehran Virtual Book Fair

According to the public relations of the National Post Company, in this conference, which was attended by Mohsen Javadi, Deputy Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Hojjatullah Seidi, CEO of Saderat Bank, Hooman Hassanpour, President of the Publishers and Booksellers Union, Ayub Dehghankar, CEO of the Book and Literature House and Companions The media was held virtually

Sobhanifar thanked the media people for covering this event and said, in order to fulfill the slogan of communication justice of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Iran National Post will support this exhibition with all its might

He pointed out that the replacement of the virtual exhibition with a physical exhibition significantly will increase the number of book publishers and expand the level of the exhibition to the whole country. He added that The National Post Company will employ all its offices and manpower and now the information about this event has been done through the installation of exhibition posters even in the villages

Sobhanifar stated that the necessary arrangements have been made with the publishing houses for how to collect the purchased books and said due to the large number of publishing centers in Tehran, we have allocated mobile post offices that collect packaged books and transfer them to the exchange and sorting centers and prepare them to be sent to the destination

The CEO continued: Because we know that the number of requests will be much higher than usual, after the barcode is issued and delivered to the exchange center, we will inform the customers by sending an SMS and then the responsibility of the shipments and their distribution at the specified time and in a proper manner will be the responsibility of the post company

He said by referring to the history of publishers and sellers of books using non-standard packaging, we ask publishers to be careful and sensitive in packing books and using appropriate wrappers, cartons for postage items as standard wrap so that books are not damaged

He pointed out: this big event, which is taking place for the first time in the world, has also been noticed in the Universal Postal Union, and we hope to play our role well by distributing the items in a timely manner

Finally, he reminded that the post will continue to work on holidays by determining the shifts of collection and distribution, adding: in the first two days, the dimensions of the work will be determined and if the volume of requests and orders exceeds the forecasts we will use the capacity of the private sector to handle the work
